|
A premiere manufacturing organization is seeking an Offshore Application Engineer to serve as a liaison between customers and the Engineering/Manufacturing team.
RESPONSIBILITY:
o To provide technical assistance to Offshore sales organization with respect to the use of products.
o To work in conjunction with the sales organization and R&D to find new applications for products or to develop new specifications for new products.
o Assist with technical data for sales quotes, and provide support as needed through the life of the sales order.
o To be knowledgeable of and ensure that our products comply with or exceed all appropriate Federal, State and other governing bodies’ specifications and/or regulations.
o To gather technical data from customers and to assist in the design of their particular systems or to provide solutions in accordance with the data.
o To assist in the development of technical papers and articles for publication and/or presentation on behalf of the company’s technology and associated applications.
o To provide technical training on products, applications and terminations to company personnel, customers and others as required.
o Customer presentations
o Sales calls with RSM's
o Participating in alliance partnerships as technical representative
o To manage projects as assigned by AE Manager or VP – R&D.
REQUIREMENTS:
o To provide high quality/in-depth technical solution to specific issue/problems
o Strong time and project management skills
o Understand expectations and work independently under minimum supervision to meet or exceed expectations
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Effective and efficient delivering quality results
o 50% travel as required. |
