Cabaco Delivers AGEOTEC 900m ROV
07/27/2010

Cabaco Marine delivered the first 900 version of Ageotec’s Perseo GT model Remote Operated Vehicle. The ROV is ideal for fast deployment for many applications including the offshore market, tunnel inspections and scientific work. Ageotec modified the design to the 600 meter version in a matter of days and the only addition to the delivery time was due to manufacture of the longer tether. Now a 1,500 meter version is available. Deeper depth ratings on request. The Perseo GT comes fully equipped with a LARS winch fitted with Fiber Optics and Slip Rings. The vehicle itself has numerous spare bulk head penetrators, surplus fiber bandwith for video and data channels which allow immediate integration of a large array of customer appurtenant equipment. The 900 meter vehicle pictured is outfitted with a Tritech Super SeaKing DST Chirp Sonar, 5 Function Hydrolek Manipulator, Wire cleaning brush and Electronically interfaced for USBL, multi-parametric probe, Pipe Tracker, Thickness and CP Probe.
