CTI Announces New Bundled Pricing

Chesapeake Technology, Inc. (CTI) has introduced new pricing that provides SonarWiz users with discounts of up to 35 percent, in an initiative designed to facilitate use of the software across all major sea floor mapping applications.

“Many of our larger customers use a variety of different sonar hardware,” explained John Gann, VP of Engineering.  “They’ve asked for an affordable ‘all-in-one’ solution for data acquisition, analysis and post-processing that they can use regardless of which sonar they select for a given survey.”

“We’ve now made it even easier for customers to use [SonarWiz] for more applications,” Gann said.

The SonarWiz software provides real-time sonar data acquisition and processing for sidescan, sub-bottom, bathymetry and magnetometer sonar data.

Organizations who seek to use SonarWiz for bathymetry, sidescan, sub-bottom and magnetometer applications can take advantage of the 35 percent discount effective immediately.  Users who renew a lapsed maintenance agreement by the end of 2016 are also eligible to upgrade to the full version of SonarWiz—which works with all major sonar categories—at a significant savings.

“We wanted to make it easier for survey companies, government agencies and other organizations to be able to take advantage of the full range of SonarWiz’s data acquisition and post-processing capabilities,” said David Finlayson, CTI Chief Scientist.

SonarWiz users will have the capability to work with virtually all the industry’s leading sonar system suppliers, including BathySwath, C-MAX, Edgetech, GeoAcoustics, Klein, Knudsen, Kongsberg, Imagenex, Marine Sonic, Ping DSP, SonarBeam, Syqwest, Teledyne Odom, Tritech, Reson and R2Sonic.
