Sonardyne Nets 6G Order from Seatronics

Sonardyne International Ltd., UK, announced that Seatronics is to take delivery of £1 million worth of its 6G acoustic positioning technology. The contract was placed at Subsea Expo 2015 in Aberdeen.   The 6G equipment ordered by Seatronics is headed for West Africa to support the survey and construction phases of a major new field development project. The multi-functional Compatt 6 transponders and Ranger 2 USBL (Ultra-Short BaseLine) positioning systems that make up the order will be utilised for a wide variety of subsea operations including structure installation, pipeline metrology

Forum Subsea Continues Sonardyne 6G Investment

Sonardyne International Ltd. has received another major order for Compatt 6G transponders from Forum Subsea Rentals, a division of Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. Formerly know as DPS Offshore, this latest order brings the total value of 6G equipment purchased by the company to approximately $3 million over the past year. In addition to the Compatt 6s, Forum Subsea Rentals has also taken delivery of a Ranger 2 USBL tracking system from Sonardyne’s Asia office. This, along with the other 6G technology ordered throughout the year, will be available from Forum’s worldwide equipment rental

Ashtead Technology Increase Subsea Equipment Rental Stock
