Aker Solutions Wins "Sizeable" Order from BP-Eni JV for Offshore Angola Project

Aker Solutions' Umbilicals for Murphy's King’s Quay FPS

Norwegian offshore engineering and construction company Aker Solutions will deliver umbilicals for Murphy's King's Quay offshore project in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. Aker Solutions said Wednesday that the contract for the delivery of umbilicals was awarded to it by Subsea 7.The delivery will include 22 kilometers (14 miles) of dynamic steel-tube umbilicals and distribution equipment to connect the King’s Quay floating production system (FPS) to the Samurai, Khaleesi, and Mormont deepwater developments. The King's Quay semisubmersible FPS will be located around 280 kilometers

Aker Solutions Bags 20-Year Deal with Chevron in Gulf of Mexico

Norway's Aker Solutions has entered a master agreement to provide umbilicals for Chevron-operated oil and gas fields in the US Gulf of Mexico. It has also won its first work under the agreement, to supply 24 kilometers (15 miles) of umbilicals for Chevron’s Anchor project.The scope of the Chevron master agreement includes the delivery of engineering, design, and manufacturing of dynamic and static control umbilicals, dynamic and static power umbilicals, and service and installation support.Under the first order for the Anchor project in the US Gulf of Mexico, the scope includes about 24

Aker Solutions Wins ADNOC Umbilicals Contract

Norwegian engineering and equipment firm Aker Solutions said it has secured a NOK 700 million ($78.2 million) order from ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) to deliver subsea umbilicals for the Dalma gas development project located offshore the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf.The scope includes four steel tube umbilicals totaling more than 100 kilometers. The umbilical system will provide power supply, communication services and chemical injection fluids. Aker Solutions Wins Umbilical Contract in West Africa

Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract from Technip to deliver umbilicals for the Girassol Resources Initiative (GirRI) phase 2 development off the coast of Angola. Contract value is undisclosed. Aker Solutions will deliver two dynamic power and control steel tube umbilicals, one dynamic power cable and ancillary equipment.   GirRI is located in Angola's Block 17, 210 kilometres west of Luanda. Aker Solutions received a Letter of Award from Total for the delivery of a subsea production system for the Moho Nord project in the Republic of the Congo. Offshore Nigeria Contract for Aker Solutions

Aker Solutions signed a contract with ExxonMobil for the supply of subsea umbilicals for the Erha North phase two development in Nigeria. The Erha North phase two development is an extension of the existing Erha subsea system and infrastructure located approximately 97 kilometers offshore Nigeria in water depths between 1,000 and 1,200 meters. Aker Solutions' scope of work includes the delivery of two dynamic and two static steel tube umbilicals, at a total length of 16.5 kilometers. Aker Solutions, the international oil services provider, has been awarded a frame agreement with Statoil for the delivery of subsea operations and services on the Norwegian continental shelf. Subsea operations and services covers installation of subsea equipment, maintenance, upgrade and recertification of tools and installed equipment. It also includes workover activities and life extension of subsea wells.
