BP’s Juniper platform sets sail for offshore Trinidad
BP Trinidad and Tobago LLC (bpTT) today announced that the new Juniper offshore platform has begun its journey towards the southeast coast of Trinidad where it will be installed as bpTT’s 14th offshore installation. The Juniper project is a US$2 billion investment in Trinidad and Tobago and one of BP’s largest start-up projects in 2017. “A little over two years ago the Juniper project was sanctioned and, at that time, it represented a significant milestone as an important part of the future of bpTT,” said Norman Christie, bpTT regional president.
Fugro Enables Safer Drilling for BP in Strong Currents
Fugro has provided a spectrum of services to BP Trinidad and Tobago LLC (bpTT) to allow safe drilling and completion of five subsea wells in an area of strong currents. The services include wellhead motion (fatigue) monitoring, metocean measurements and positioning services. Harkand Completes IRM Campaign for BPTT
HARKAND has completed an inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) campaign for BP Trinidad and Tobago (BPTT) utilizing the Harkand Da Vinci diving support vessel (DSV) and the company's new hyperbaric rescue facility (HRF) in the Caribbean. The IRM scope included deadleg inspection of BPTT offshore assets, pipeline intervention, caisson repair works, platform and pipeline clamps installation and inspection and recovery of a caisson section. InterMoor Completes Juniper Contract Off Trinidad and Tobago
