CWind Awarded O&M Crew Transfer Contract

CWind, a provider of integrated services to the wind industry, announced it has won a three-year contract to supply crew transfer services during the operations and maintenance (O&M) phase at Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm (OWF) off the coast of Essex. The CWind Challenger will be transferring technicians and equipment to the wind farm for the next three years. Gunfleet Sands OWF has the option to extend this contract for up to two years. Windwave Launches Damen FCS 2008

Windwave Workboats will be the first customer of Damen’s Twin Axe Fast Crew Supplier (FCS) 2008. The Twin Axe FCS 2008 is a smaller version of Damen’s FCS 2610 which launched in 2011. Based in Penzance, Cornwall, Windwave Workboats has been providing offshore wind farm support and crew transfer services to the renewable energy industry since 2008. This is the company’s first Damen vessel.
