TechnipFMC Secures 'Significant' iEPCI Deal with Wintershall in Norway

Oilfield services firm TechnipFMC has said it has won a significant integrated Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (iEPCI) contract with Wintershall Dea Norge AS for its Maria revitalization project, offshore Norway. For TechnipFMC, a “significant” contract is between $75 million and $250 million.The project will increase output at the existing Maria field in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The contract includes subsea trees, spools, jumpers, and flexible pipes. The revitalization project will tie in an additional lightweight six-slot integrated template structures

Well Drilling at Fogelberg Gas Discovery to Start in Feb/March

Skarfjell becomes tie-back to Gjøa

Technip Wins Dvalin Subsea Development Contract

Technip said it has been awarded an EPCI contract for the subsea development of the Dvalin field by DEA Norge AS.   The Dvalin field (previously named Zidane) development is a tie-back from a new four-slot template to the Heidrun platform through a 15km long Pipe-in-Pipe production line. Aker Solutions, Aibel Awarded Dvalin contracts

Dvalin is DEA’s first operated field development project in Norway. “These contracts are a major step in our effort on getting the Dvalin field developed, and we are very satisfied with having Aker Solutions and Aibel on board”, says Hans-Hermann Andreae, Managing Director of DEA Norge. Andreae Appointed MD of DEA Norge

After a five-month integration process, DEA has set up a new organisation, DEA Norge in Norway and has appointed Hans-Hermann Andreae as its Managing Director. He heads the business in Norway from the new headquarters in Stavanger. The company will continue to pursue its long-term growth strategy on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). The changes to DEA in Norway follow the acquisition of E.ON E&P Norge in December 2015. In line with the requirements of Norwegian authorities, the two companies are now legally merged.
