DOF Lands Transport and Installation Job Offshore West Africa

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group has been awarded a contract for a construction transport and installation project in West Africa.The project includes installation of flexible product and various subsea structures.Preparations for the project have already started, while the offshore execution is planned in third quarter of 2024.According to DOF, the contract value is in the range $19 - 29 million.DOF said it plans to utilize the vessel Maersk Installer for the project, with a duration between 100 - 150 days.“With the recently announced award from Shell this is the second large job

DOF Secures $13M Offshore Wind Export Cable Repair Job

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group has been awarded a contract by an international energy operator to repair an export cable for an offshore wind farm in Southern North Sea.The project includes the retrieval of the damaged cable and termination, installation, trenching and commissioning of the replacement cable.DOF’s contract scope includes project management, engineering, procurement and logics of cable and all associated equipment as well as the complete offshore works.Preparations have already commenced from DOF’s expert cable team across Aberdeen, Scotland and Bergen, Norway.

Equinor Books DOF’s AHTS Vessel for Norwegian Ops

Equinor has booked DOF Group’s anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel Skandi Iceman for its Norwegian operations, along with ROV services to be provided by the company.The contract award means that the DOF Group will have two anchor handlers supporting Equinor’s Norwegian operations until 2027 at the earliest, with Skandi Vega having been on charter to Equinor since delivery 2010.Defined as ‘large contract’ by DOF Group, this means its value ranges between $47 million to approximately $95 million (NOK 500 million to NOK 1 billion).The contract also includes ROV services

DOF Awarded Subsea Work off West Africa

Norway-based DOF Group on Monday announced it has been awarded a contract for one of its vessels offshore West Africa.The deal will see DOF's construction support vessel (CSV) Skandi Acergy support operations to install subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) for an unnamed "tier 1 contractor and operator" in West Africa, DOF said. The 156.9-meter-long vessel was built in 2008.DOF labeled the contract as "significant", worth between $80 million and $100 million. The deal includes 326 days firm utilization, and 75 optional days, commencing in the fourth quarter of 2023.

DOF Bags Multiple Offshore Vessel Deals

DOF has won several contracts from undisclosed clients for work in Guyana, Saudi Arabia, and the Mediterranean.The Skandi Neptune has already commenced operation in Guyana for survey work and planning a second campaign within 2019 for Field Development Construction Support activities.In addition, the DOF group is secured award for two PSVs, the Skandi Foula and Skandi Buchan, and both vessels will join the Skandi Neptune in the second quarter of 2019 carrying pipe and subsea hardware to the main installation vessels. The forecast assets utilization is estimated close to 650 vessel days plus options.

DOF Vessel Awarded Prelude FLNG Work

TechnipFMC in Australia awards contract for the supply of MSV Geoholm to DOF's subsidiary DOF Subsea   The DOF Group said its subsidiary DOF Subsea Australia Pty Ltd has been awarded a contract by Technip Oceania Pty Ltd, part of TechnipFMC in Australia, for the provision of multipurpose support vessel (MSV) Geoholm for the Prelude floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project, operated by Shell Australia.   The Geoholm will be required to provide remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) and light construction support services to TechnipFMC in Australia for the Prelude FLNG Water

DOF Secures North Sea, Brazil Contracts

DOF Rederi AS and Norskan Offshroe Ltda. have secured contracts in the North Sea and in Brazil, the DOF Group announced.   DOF Rederi has secured a one year contract plus options with Asco Marine Ltd. for Skandi Sotra. The vessel has started on this contract in December.   Norskan has secured a one year contract with Petrobras for Skandi Botafogo, also with start up in December.

DOF Extends VSAT Contract with Marlink

Ongoing service development and customer support help secure new five year deal for entire fleet   DOF Group has renewed its VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) services contract with Marlink for five more years, with options to further extend the services.
