Houston based Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. announced Monday that C. Christopher Gaut will return to the role of Chief Executive Officer to replace outgoing CEO Prady Iyyanki. Forum is Building a Submarine Rescue Vehicle

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. (FET) said it has received an order from Submarine Manufacturing and Products, Ltd. (SMP) to supply a submarine rescue vehicle (SRV), a work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and associated launch and recovery systems. The ROV and SRV will be delivered in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and integrated by SMP with additional equipment for delivery to a navy in the Far East.The SRV, an onboard piloted rescue submarine, is similar to Perry’s design of rescue vessels, and will incorporate a unumber of high-tech subsea vehicle technologies. Forum Energy Technologies Launches Electric ROV Range

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. has launched its new electric remotely operated vehicle (EROV) range.   Designed and manufactured in-house at Forum’s Kirkbymoorside Yorkshire facility, the XLe Spirit is the company’s first of a new generation of electric ROVs.   The vehicle is the smallest in the new range but is powerful enough to perform subsea maintenance and repair work with the use of its optional electric or hydraulic five function manipulator arm. VisualSoft Selected for Cable-laying Vessel NKT Victoria

Forum Signs Comanche Deal with Baltic Diver Germany

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. has announced the sale of two Sub-Atlantic Comanche ROVs to international diving contractor Baltic Taucherei- und Bergungsbetrieb Rostock GmbH (Baltic Diver Germany).
