CGG Completes 2D Survey Offshore Gabon

French-based geophysical services company CGG said it has completed acquisition of 9,800 km long-offset broadband 2D multi-client seismic survey in the highly prospective Gabon South Basin.Fast-track data sets will be delivered in batches from the end of April, giving interested oil companies sufficient time to understand offshore petroleum systems and appraise blocks offered in Gabon’s 12th offshore licensing round planned for September 2019.This modern data set will help define the full extent of existing and new plays in the region. Bourbon wins Pipelay EPCI Contract for Hylia Project

Bourbon  announced its first pipelay contract awarded by Total Gabon for the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of 25 km of 6” rigid pipeline as part of the Hylia Water Injection Project using Zap-Lok technology.   For the execution of this contract, BOURBON is subcontracting key suppliers, mainly Cortez Subsea, for pipelay equipment and Wood Group for the pipeline design and pipelay engineering. Falcon ROV Wins Over Perenco in West Africa

Saipem Scarabeo 3 Spuds Aje Well

  Panoro Energy ASA , the independent E&P company with assets in Nigeria and Gabon, informed that drilling has commenced on the Aje-5 production well on the OML 113 license, offshore Nigeria. The well is being drilled with the Saipem Scarabeo 3 semi-submersible drilling rig. Aje is an offshore field located in the western part of Nigeria in the Dahomey Basin close to the border with Benin. The field is situated in water depths ranging from 100 to 1,000 metres about 24 km from the coast.
