SBG Systems Launches Navsight Marine Solution at OI2018

in all conditions, such as surveying under a bridge, or during a GNSS outages due to coastal infrastructures (buildings, harbor cranes, etc.) The Navsight Marine Solution supports RTK and every Precise Point Positioning service (Marinestar, TerraStar, etc.). It is compatible with the main hydrographic software such as Hypack, QINSy, or Teledyne PDS for seamless integration into existing workflows.   Navsight Marine Solution Availability Navsight is ITAR Free. All models are available for order. Ordering information and delivery time are available from SBG Systems representatives and authorized

features to enhance operations including the ability to insert geo-referenced models to enhance and visually augment the acoustic sonar data, the ability operate with and without GNSS position and motion data and the ability to export raw or binned point-cloud data for processing in third-party hydrographic software.    We have further developed our proprietary visualization software to add the ability to track targets for the breakwater construction market and our construction specific software CMS. This unique software enables both the visualization of large concrete blocks as they are

Teledyne CARIS Names Codevintec as Italian Distributor

has been a distributor in the geomatics industry for many years. As a contribution to Teledyne CARIS’ list of distributors, Codevintec can now provide survey companies, scientific research organizations and mapping agencies in this region further information about the Ping-to-Chart hydrographic software solutions, which include support for Airborne Lidar Bathymetry (ALB) operations, big data management and autonomous operational solutions

Seamless Hydrographic Workflow: Processing Evolved

, seafloor interpretation evolved from hand-pasted sidescan mosaics with hand-contoured mylar overlays to semi-automated processing incorporating sophisticated algorithms such as CUBE (Calder, 2003) and Geocoder (Fonseca, 2005). While hydrographic hardware advancements are exponentially improving, hydrographic software data processing and their associated workflows still provide challenges for even the most experienced users. While software generally keeps pace with the advancements in hardware and processing methods, many of the frustrations are present because human operators must connect all the pieces

SBG Systems Launches New Inertial Sensors

throughout the intuitive embedded web interface where all parameters can be quickly displayed and adjusted. The new 3D View helps the user to check the mechanical installation, especially sensor and antennas position, alignments and lever arms. The user can then connect the Apogee to the main hydrographic software such as Hypack, QINSy or Teledyne PDS2000 thanks to available drivers.   SBG Systems continuously make its systems evolve with new firmware upgrades that are available during the whole life of the product without extra cost.    Apogee-M and Apogee-U are ITAR Free.
