Finnish Transport Agency Chooses Teledyne CARIS

of software, migration of existing bathymetric datasets, and will provide new optimized workflows at FTA. A 13-year support agreement is also part of the contract highlighting the long term nature of the relationship. The CARIS software will be integrated with existing systems ranging from internal systems for chart production, and external data sources housed in 3rd party GIS databases. Additionally, the solution will provide FTA with easy and secure synchronization between on-line and off-line environments of the MERTA system. The foundation of this migration is the CARIS Bathy DataBASE(BDB)

Plug and Play Smart Buoy System

Iridium satellite network, specifically the low-cost Short Burst Data service, to provide truly global coverage, pole to pole. Wherever a buoy is located, it will be able to send data back to be reviewed using ‘The Core’ web-based mapping and management system, or on a user’s own internal systems via the open API developed by Rock Seven and Hydrosphere.  

Triton Submarines’ New Submersible

The design of 1000/3 LP utilizes a forward acrylic hyper-hemisphere for the two passengers and a rear steel hyper-hemisphere for the pilot and internal systems.
