Remote Acoustic Metrology Put to the Test
4D Nav’s remote survey system in a joint program between 4D Nav and i-Tech Services. The metrology took place as part of remote survey trials during a Subsea 7 project earlier this year in the Gulf of Mexico.Acoustic long baseline (LBL) data and pressure sensor data were collected at a network operations center (NOC) onshore in Houston.
