Closed Bell Diving Courses Relaunched at The Underwater Centre

Kawasaki Tests Prototype AUV in UK Waters

AUVs utilizing sophisticated underwater vehicle technologies fostered in-house over the years, with support from a subsidization project by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).   The AUV verification test was carried out from November 6 to 20, 2017 at The Underwater Centre, a marine testing and training facility in Fort William, Scotland. Loudon Honored for Diver Training Contributions

A commercial diver who now instructs the next generation of divers has had his contribution to commercial diver training recognized with a peer-nominated industry award.   David Loudon, Commercial Diver Trainer at The Underwater Centre in Tasmania, has been awarded the Maurie Vierow Award of Excellence by industry body Australian Diver Accreditation Scheme (ADAS).   The award recognizes outstanding contributions and service from within ADAS and ADAS Accredited Training Establishments.   Loudon – who is a qualified supervisor and has obtained Certificate IV TAE in Training

New Training Scheme Boost Commercial Diving Safety

The Underwater Centre, the subsea worker training experts with 40 years’ experience, has announced its new International Training Establishment (ITE) Partnership scheme, as well as its first partner, Singapore’s SSE Training Centre.    The scheme will allow training centers around the world to deliver internationally recognized commercial diving courses, accredited by ADAS. New Course Launched at The Underwater Center

Air Nitrox System Strengthens Osiris Diving Capability
