DOF Lands Transport and Installation Job Offshore West Africa

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group has been awarded a contract for a construction transport and installation project in West Africa.The project includes installation of flexible product and various subsea structures.Preparations for the project have already started, while the offshore execution is planned in third quarter of 2024.According to DOF, the contract value is in the range $19 - 29 million.DOF said it plans to utilize the vessel Maersk Installer for the project, with a duration between 100 - 150 days.“With the recently announced award from Shell this is the second large job

DOF Secures $13M Offshore Wind Export Cable Repair Job

Norwegian offshore vessel operator DOF Group has been awarded a contract by an international energy operator to repair an export cable for an offshore wind farm in Southern North Sea.The project includes the retrieval of the damaged cable and termination, installation, trenching and commissioning of the replacement cable.DOF’s contract scope includes project management, engineering, procurement and logics of cable and all associated equipment as well as the complete offshore works.Preparations have already commenced from DOF’s expert cable team across Aberdeen, Scotland and Bergen, Norway.

Bourbon to Install Eolmed Floating Wind Farm in Mediterranean Sea

French offshore vessel operator Bourbon has won a contract to support the construction of the Eolmed project, a recently sanctioned pilot floating wind farm in the Mediterranean Sea, offshore France.The wind farm, owned by Qair, TotalEnergies, and BW Ideol, will consist of three floaters, each fitted with 10 MW turbines.This 30 MW project is located more than 18 km off the coast of Gruissan and Port la Nouvelle (Occitan region).
