Polarcus Awarded Middle East Project

Establishment for a combined towed streamer and ocean bottom node (OBN) 3D seismic acquisition and processing project in the Middle East.The project will commence in the first quarter of 2019 and run for approximately three months. The towed streamer seismic will be acquired by the vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov. Polarcus Extends Bareboat Agreement with SCF Group

Polarcus Limited announced a three-year extension of the Bareboat Charter Party Agreement (BBCP) for M/V Vyacheslav Tikhonov between Polarcus Selma Limited, Polarcus' wholly owned subsidiary, and SCF Sakhalin Supply Limited.   This extension was carried out pursuant to SCF's option within the terms of the current BBCP (in force since 2011). The vessel charter shall continue for a further period of three years starting from August 18, 2016.

Nordic Clinches $23.5m Offshore Seismic Contract

to provide 3D marine seismic data acquisition and processing services off the coast of Andhra Pradesh, India, to Cairn India Limited, starting later this month. The contract will see Nordic Maritime collaborate with SCF Geo of Russia and will feature that group’s seismic survey vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov. The Vyacheslav Tikhonov will survey approximately 1,000 sq km of ocean bed. They include Polarcus Nadia (2009), and Polarcus Naila (2010), 12 streamer vessels of type SX124,  Polarcus Asima (2010) and Polarcus Alima (2011), 12 streamer vessels of type SX134, Polarcus Samur (2011) and the Russian flag vessel Vyacheslav Tikhonov (2011), 8 streamer vessels of type SX133.
