ASB and TRDI to Co-host ADCPs in Action Event in India

For over a decade, Teledyne RD Instruments (TRDI) has hosted its ADCPs in Action (AiA) Users’ Conference through its U.S. and French offices. Due to popular demand, in 2012, Teledyne RDI began to co-host these events in cooperation with their global representatives, successfully bringing this event to customers in key regions such as Australia, India, China and Europe.

On September 23-25, 2014, Teledyne RD Instruments and ASB Systems will once again co-host ADCPs in Action in India at the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) in Goa.

This three-day event will focus on the use of Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs), CTDs and Doppler Velocity Logs (DVLs) for a wide array of oceanographic applications. Sessions will include presentations given by local customers and guest speakers; as well as training on new products and software; a review of best practices; ADCP data collection, processing and analysis; waves measurement; and a primer on Doppler navigation.  This year’s event will also include technology workshops presented by Aqua Vision and Teledyne BlueView.
