Seafloor Systems delivers EchoBoat-MB to Consorcio IUYET S.A. de C.V.

Seafloor Systems announced the delivery of one of its EchoBoat-MB systems to Consorcio IUYET S.A. de C.V., one of Mexico's largest engineering firms.

The EchoBoat-MB is a remotely controlled, multipurpose vessel capable of carrying multiple sensors for hydrographic survey projects. The system delivered to Consorcio is equipped with Sonic 2020 Multibeam Echosounder by R2Sonic LLC, Ekinox-D High Accuracy Dual GPS Inertial System by SBG Systems, miniSVS Sound Velocity Measurement Sensor by Valeport Ltd and HYSWEEP Multibeam Software by HYPACK, Inc.

Installation and training will take place in Mexico City for the Consorcio IUYET personnel, to cover the operation and maintenance of the overall system.

The EchoBoat-RCV, launched in July, 2015, complements the HyDrone-RCV, a remotely controlled catamaran vessel for shallow water hydrographic survey. The EchoBoat-RCV is designed to carry customer-specified equipment payloads such as single- or multibeam sonar, ADCP, and sidescan sonar with ancillary sensors, pre-installed, or ready to accept existing equipment from the user’s survey pool.
