EdgeTech Expands Manufacturing Space in Massachusetts

EdgeTech, a company in high resolution sonar imaging systems and underwater technology, has added more than 7,500 square feet to its main office in Massachusetts. The expansion is the second in less than two years for the company. EdgeTech continues to see a growing demand for the company’s side scan sonars, sub-bottom profilers, bathymetry systems, AUV-based sonars and deep sea acoustic releases.

With the additional space, EdgeTech now has over 30,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space located in West Wareham Massachusetts. The new space will be used to build commercial off-the-shelf and customized sonar products. The majority of the space will be allocated for engineering and manufacturing, with a portion dedicated to supporting office personnel as well.

With the expansion, EdgeTech is also seeking qualified individuals to work with the company. Current open positions include Customer Service Software Engineer (West Wareham, Mass.); Senior Electrical Engineer (West Wareham, Mass.); Systems & Hardware Design Engineer (Boca Raton, Fla.); Software Engineer (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Software Engineer - Embedded Real Time Systems (Boca Raton, Fla.)
