EdgeTech Adds Principal Research Scientist

EdgeTech announced that Ryan Pitre, Ph.D. joined its Research and Development team.

Dr. Ryan Pitre earned his Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans under target tracking researcher Dr. X. Rong Li. Dr. Pitre has experience in probabilistics, beam forming, signal processing, mission planning for unmanned systems, and multiple-model target tracking. His recent experience includes anti-submarine warfare, passive sonar systems, and multistatic radar systems.

Dr. Ryan Pitre joined the company in May with over 10 years of electrical engineering experience and will work with EdgeTech’s exceptional research and development organization based in Boca Raton, Fla. Working in conjunction with the EdgeTech office in Massachusetts the R&D team in Boca Raton researches, develops and tests cutting-edge technology focused on underwater solutions for military, oil and gas, offshore construction, charting/ mapping, oceanographic and research groups around the globe.
