Hydroid Offers AUV Training Course at U.S. HQ

Manufacturer of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), Hydroid, Inc., (a subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime) informs that registration is now open for its REMUS 100 Operations & Training Course, to be held during the week of September 15-19, 2014.

Based out of Hydroid's state-of-the-art facility in Pocasset, MA, this course will focus on basic vehicle operations and maintenance, with Hydroid's highly-experienced technicians walking participants through all aspects of the REMUS 100 system.

Hydroid explains that it's intensive 5-day course is designed for a variety of skill levels, from first-time AUV users to experienced operators looking for a refresher. Participants come away from the program with all the skills necessary to effectively operate a REMUS 100 system. Hydroid also offers customized 2 to 10-day training sessions based on customers' unique training needs.

About the AUV
Hydroid's REMUS AUVs are modular and can be fitted with a wide range of different sensors.
