Red Marine has delivered a Subsea Clamp Handling System to a U.S. based provider of subsea riserless light well intervention services.

Working to a tight deadline, Red Marine delivered the fast-track project in eight weeks from initial consultation through to commissioning of the clamp handling system.

With a Working Load Limit of 15 tons, the system is used to facilitate the installation of a Red Marine supplied umbilical clamp during well intervention operations. Between operations, the handling system can also be used to provide a safe storage and maintenance location for the clamp.

Given the location of the client vessel, the equipment was manufactured by Louisiana based Bollinger Shipyards with a Red Marine engineer being onsite throughout this phase of the project to provide engineering support and input.
