Neptune Expands Into United States

Neptune Marine Services (Neptune), a provider of specialized engineering, integrated inspection, repair and maintenance solutions to the energy industries, is targeting further growth overseas with its new office in the U.S.

Supported by the demand from the company’s key North Sea clientele, Neptune has established an office in Houston, Texas.  Operating under the name Neptune Subsea Inc., it will enable Neptune to provide the full suite of Neptune’s services to clients within the Gulf of Mexico and the Americas.

John Allen, a Houston based strategic business development advisor, formerly of GE Oil and Gas has been appointed to drive the expansion and maximize Neptune’s opportunities in the region.

The expansion has been supported by Scottish Development International, the international arm of Scottish Enterprise. Funding was awarded to Neptune Subsea Engineering in Spring 2016 for Company Growth Business Support for expansion into the Gulf of Mexico.

Robin King, Neptune CEO, said, “Our expansion into the U.S. was a strategic initiative planned to provide key clients in the U.S. with the technical expertise they have grown to expect from Neptune.  We are optimistic about the potential opportunities that our presence in the US will deliver and look forward to expanding our client relationships in the region.”

Globally, Neptune provides bespoke engineering solutions as well as survey, ROV, inspection repair and maintenance, pipeline stabilisation and diving services to oil and gas operators in Australasia, the Middle East, the North Sea and now the Americas.
