Petrobras Starts Production in Lucius

Petrobras launched Lucius field production at acerca located 380 km (236 miles) in the southwest of Porto Fourchon, Louisiana, United States. The depth of water where the field is located 2,160 m.

Lucius was developed using a stationary production unit (PIU) of Spar type, platform and a vertical cylindrical shape with daily production capacity of 80,000 barrels of oil and 12.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas per day.

Petrobras is a leader in ultra-deep water operations and adds another asset production in Its portfolio. Lucius is the fourth field of the company's production of ultra-deepwater US Gulf of Mexico.
