EXPERIENCE AS MARINE TECHNICAL OFFICER (VIKRAM ISPAT) AUDIT OF GRASIM INDUSTRIES

    Responsible for discharging/loading iron ore pallets/hbi from and to the mother vessel by lighterage operation. The scope of this operation includes chartering of ships/barges clearances for port and customs, stevedoring from mother vessel. Discharging barges/m.b.c's at jetty, maintenance of navigational buoys, scheduling of mbc's/barges to achieve max. turn-around time.

I was also on deputation to a.b.g. shipyard surat as owner’s representative, for supervision and technical assistance, co-ordinate various m.m.d./class surveys for two mini bulk carriers which were built for Vikram Ispat.

INDIAN NAVY                  

Jan 1977 - Dec 1992 (different ranks, including professional training/ sea and shore duties) January 1977 joined Indian Navy and worked and undergone various professional training and served in various and different type of ship sand ranks. During this period, I got the chance to serve in Indian coast guard and naval Hydro graphic survey ships. I was also on Indian naval deputation to United Kingdom while I was in Indian Navy for repair & taking over of HMS Hermes presently called INS Viraat. There ship was repaired in Devonport shipyard, Plymouth, U.K. (Also undergone Fire-fighting advance course, nuclear biological defense and damage control course and various professional courses from Royal Navy United Kingdom.
