  • Taking initiatives and responsibilities for the quality of the work within assignedareas.

  • Planning, coordination and supervising on-site functions (scheduling, engineering, material control & materialhandling).

  • Providing site based information to the engineering, procurement and construction departments. Maintaining a high level of communication with and across theteams.

  • Reviewing together all the remarks with Owner Superintendent that appeared during building/repair process and solving them accordingly with the Owner’srequirements.

  • Ensuring construction contractors complete their work in accordance with design, budget and project schedule.
  • Carrying out progressive surveillance and punch listing to ensure that the works are completed to the fullest extent possible prior to acceptance andcommissioning.

Project: 20K bulk Carrier for Clipper Denmark- Hull No V-368,369.Scope: Hull & Outfit

  • Review of Ship building specifications and basic keyplans.
  • Do on site plan review andapproval.
  • Review of Owner/Class approved Drawings, Technical specification & Shipyard Quality standards to insure that all comments & agreement are compiled during the constructionstage.
  • Develop suitable computerized construction progress reporting systems and shipbuilding construction and quality control standards based on international ship buildingstandards.
  • Inspect and supervise all works of hull construction, outfitting piping, electric outfitting and Accommodation outfitting from beginning of fabrication until completion of thevessel.
  • Inspection of Material andequipment.
  • Documentations, rendering progress report, Slippage monitor, defect and survey report to owner time to time.
  • Verification of final drawings to ensure the incorporation of classcomments.
  • Review with Project Manager the risks/opportunitiesstatus.
  • Develop appropriate methods and sequence of events for particular project in conjunction with Project manager.

  • Maintain updated all Schedules, collecting actual data, evaluating dates to completion and project delays by.
