Seafloor Systems has signed an International Distributorship Agreement with Teledyne RESON and Teledyne BlueVew, business units of Teledyne Instruments, Inc.

BlueView manufactures a variety of underwater surveying systems, including M900-2250 2D and 3D imaging sonars, and BV5000 3D Multibeam inspection sonars. RESON manufactures the SeaBat Multibeam Sonar systems, including the new SeaBat T-series (SeaBat T50-P, T20-P, and new T50-R, T20-R).

Seafloor Systems provides and supports customized integrated turnkey sonar solutions, both sales and rentals. In addition, the company recently supplied multiple SeaBat T-series sonars to three different U.S. Geological Survey offices, and to the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Portland, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Atlantic City Districts.

“We anticipate that Seafloor’s further expansion into BlueView’s product line will provide us the tools to serve a wider range of customers within the hydrographic community,” said John Tamplin, President, Seafloor Systems. Teledyne BlueView’s products are employed for a variety of applications, including underwater navigation, monitoring, tracking and inspection applications for the energy, transportation, civil engineering, search and recovery, and oceanographic industries and more.

Seafloor Systems has been a distributor for Teledyne Odom/RESON for many years, and is known in the industry for providing turnkey singlebeam and multibeam hydrographic survey equipment and vehicles including the EchoBoat-ASV, featuring dual-DC motors for ease of control and redundancy, non-corrosive materials, an integral transducer well and multi-sensor payload capability. It allows the hydrographic surveyor to reliably and effectively tackle multibeam surveys in shallow waters or difficult to reach areas when conventional survey boats are not an option.
