STR Awarded for International Growth

Subsea Technology & Rentals Ltd (STR) has received the award for Great International Business Growth at this year’s Spirit of Enterprise Awards dinner. The awards evening celebrated outstanding business and enterprise in the Borough of Great Yarmouth, focusing on and recognizing the achievements through innovation, entrepreneurial thinking and sheer determination of businesses of all sizes and from every sector.
To be shortlisted as finalists for this award, sponsored by Great Yarmouth Borough Services, STR had to demonstrate that finding and developing new growth opportunities overseas had improved their financial performance. STR were required to evidence steps taken to achieve international growth including research into market and demand, export growth, increase in revenues from overseas operations and contribution to business as a whole, increase in market share, potential and plan for sustained growth and finally, overall commitment to international business.
