Conners Named CEO of Umbilicals International
Robert “Bob” Conners has been appointed CEO of Umbilicals International, a Houston-based provider of high performance umbilicals, cables and hoses to the oil and gas, diving, seismic and defense industries.
Conners will be responsible for developing the company’s global umbilicals, and cables business for the offshore, onshore and defense sectors.
Formerly Vice President of the SURF Business unit at the Prysmian Group, Conner has 35 years’ experience in a range of senior management roles in engineering companies. This included President of HL Technologies (now Umbilicals international) in 2009 where he successfully developed new business streams in the subsea, seismic and defense sectors.
