Blue Ocean Monitoring Opens 2 New Offices

Blue Ocean Monitoring Pty Ltd, a company which implements and operates autonomous ocean data collection platforms for oil and gas and environmental applications, announced it had expanded its offices from Perth and Singapore, opening offices in the U.K. and the U.S. due to growing customer demand.

The U.K. office is headed by Keith Wallace who has been appointed General Manager – Europe & the Middle East. Keith is an accomplished Metocean Scientist, is a leader in his field and is well regarded throughout the region.

The Houston, U.S. office is headed by Chris Carter who has been appointed Vice President – Americas. Chris has a strong technical sales solutions focus with autonomous marine robotic equipment.

The company will base its Slocum gliders and other platforms in each of the new regions and relocate other gliders from its global fleet as local requirements dictate.

Perth based Blue Ocean Monitoring now has offices in Australia, Singapore, U.K. and U.S., along with a strategic alliance in Cape Town.

One of Blue Ocean Monitoring’s subsidiaries recently signed an agreement with Teledyne Webb Research to be the exclusive third party glider service, support and repair company for Australia and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
