Independent survey company UTEC Survey has announced a significant step forward in its ongoing growth with the opening of a new office in Jakarta, Indonesia. UTEC Survey’s new entity – PT UTEC Survey Indonesia – will focus on providing quality survey support to challenging developments in the expanding Indonesia deep water oil and gas sector.

The decision to open an office in the region comes in response to strong demand from operators and subsea contractors requiring specialized international expertise coupled with domestic resources. PT UTEC Survey Indonesia services include subsea positioning, geophysical (AUV), geotechnical consulting, dimensional control and 3D laser scanning.

UTEC provides a wide range of survey services including offshore positioning and construction support, geophysical and AUV surveys, geotechnical sampling and consulting services to the oil, gas and energy industries. In addition UTEC offers dimensional control surveys, laser scanning, 3D modeling and the iSITE asset management software. UTEC has offices located around the world including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States.
