Outland Technology Announces New Underwater HD Camera

 Outland Technology announced the production of a new underwater HD camera today, model UWC-625, which provides live video and recording in HD 1080P resolution. The company said the camera can be used with fixed installations and ROVs, as well as used for handheld diver recording.

The UWC-625 has a 2.375" diameter and a 5" length, with a depth rating of 500 meters and an optional 2000 meters available. The UWC-625 comes standard with an XSK-5-BCL, which means it will run on all of the company's existing cables. Housing materials include Acetal (delrin®), options include aluminum and stainless with acrylic port.
