Offshore solutions firm OEG Energy Group Limited said Monday it had agreed to acquire Bluestream Offshore, a specialist in subsea and topside services based in the Netherlands, for an undisclosed consideration.Based in Den Helder, Bluestream is an offshore contractor providing specialist technical services above and below the waterline to a roster of blue-chip clients within the energy sector.According to OEG, Bluestream has a turnover in excess of €55 million executed through an employee base of around 55 people and more than 300 offshore subsea and topside specialists. "They are

Corrosion and BlueStream launched ICCP-SAM, touted as sustainable corrosion protection of XX(X)L monopile foundations. ICCP-SAM is designed to remotely install ICCP anodes on monopile foundations of all sizes, anywhere on the foundation and even in the roughest ocean conditions.The ICCP-SAM (Subsea Assembly Method) is compact and can be transported and deployed with minimal resources from the topside of the offshore foundation. It is operated remotely and maneuvers the anode underwater into the designated foundation entry hole. The anode is then secured to the foundation using the same tool.

Deutsche Windtechnik Wins 'Cluster' Subsea Inspection Work

Bluestream Secures Annual IRM Contract of Total E&P Netherlands

Following a tendering process, Den Helder-based Bluestream has been awarded the 2017 Inspect Repair and Maintenance contract with Total E&P Nederland B.V. for 36 offshore sites. The contract is part of a long term frame agreement and is a continuation of the long-standing relationship between Bluestream and Total EP that has been in place since 2009. Dutch Government Picks Panther from Bluestream

For wreck removal, security and waterway maintenance, the Dutch Government chose the Saab Seaeye Panther XT Plus ROV. This followed a year-long evaluation of ROV manufacturers using European Union tendering rules. Bluestream Boost Fleet of Saab Seaeye ROVs

Bluestream has taken delivery of the third of four ROVs ordered from Saab Seaeye in the last twelve months. Their new 2,000 meter-rated Cougar XT is the second of this model to be added to the 11 strong ROV fleet operated by the Netherlands-based Offshore services company.
