Solstad Taps IKM Subsea for ROV Services in Taiwan

ROV manufacturer and operator IKM Subsea Singapore has won a contract with the Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad for ROV services at the construction support vessel, the Normand Baltic.The contract will see  IKM Subsea provide the Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV with toolings and personnel for an offshore wind farm Installation project in Taiwan. IKM Subsea Secures PTTEP Drilling Contract

IKM Subsea Singapore signed a contract with PTTEPI for their appraisal campaign offshore in Myanmar.   IKM Subsea will be providing a Merlin WR200 electrical propulsion system together with a BOP intervention tool and an IKM Technology designed and built diamond wire cutter for this project onboard the rig.   This marks as IKM’s second deepest dive in South East Asia as the water depth ranges from 200mtrs to 2000mtrs.    “This award definitely boosts IKM’s ROV utilization for 2018/19. IKM Subsea Singapore Starts 2018 with Multiple Contracts

IKM Subsea Singapore said it has kicked off 2018 with a double contract award.   The first is a contract to provide two remotely operated vehicles (ROV) for a floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) mooring installation in Bangladesh. IKM Subsea provided one Merlin WR200 and a Comanche with the necessary toolings onboard the vessel Jumbo Javelin. IKM said it was chosen due to previous experience with the client, Jumbo Offshore, and the ability to perform in strong weather conditions in Bangladesh. With the Merlin WR200, the operating weather window is extended to help and execute the project.

IKM Subsea Singapore Inks ROV Contract with Solstad

Solstad Offshore in Singapore has recently awarded IKM Subsea Singapore a service contract to provide ROV services onboard on the DLB Norce Endeavour for construction support projects offshore in Thailand (hat-trick award from 2015). The barge will be mobilized in Singapore and will be working in the Gulf of Thailand for various clients.    IKM Subsea will provide the Merlin WR 200 Work class ROV together with the required tooling’s to execute the project which consist of numerous platform and Pipelines installation coupled with dive support for Subsea tie-in and commissioning.

ROV Contract for IKM Subsea Singapore

IKM Subsea Singapore wins contract to provide ROV services onboard a construction support vessel for a FPSO Hook-up & Commission project in India. The vessel has been mobilized in Singapore and is currently enroute to India. IKM Subsea will be providing the in house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV together with all necessary toolings onboard the vessel to support the operations. Business Development Manager, for IKM Subsea, Mahesh Govindan says it is a fantastic way to end the year with the award of a contract that would continue to build on the company's track record in the region.
