EMGS Reports Multi-client Sales

Bjarte Bruheim Appointed CEO of EMGS

to appoint Bjarte H. Bruheim as Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective from 7 January 2015. Bjarte Bruheim has been the Executive Chairman of EMGS since July 2004, and he has extensive experience from the oil service sector over the past 30 years.   Consequently, the Company and Roar Bekker have agreed that Roar Bekker resigns from the Company. He has held the position as CEO of EMGS since 26 May 2009, and has been employed with the Company since 2007. EMGS in Brazil Data Sale

data from a portion of the EMGS' multi-client data library in Foz do Amazonas in Brazil.   "This sale is an indication of the sales potential of our multi-client data in this basin. We see the equatorial margin as an exciting and large region for the EM technology going forward," says Roar Bekker, CEO of EMGS.   The data will be delivered in December 2014 and EMGS will therefore book the sales in the fourth quarter 2014.  

Charter for EM Leader Extended

It maintains our flexibility to reduce our vessel costs by approximately 25% if needed, and at the same time, it secures our revenue capacity for four vessels. This is in line with our strategy to retain a flexible business model," says Roar Bekker, CEO of EMGS.   EMGS will charter the vessel for 2 years and has 2 x 1 year options for extension. The agreement includes different rates for when the vessel is in operation, idle or laid up. The new operational rate represent a significant saving compared to the previous.   The

EMGS Wins 3D EM Contract with BG Group

USD 27 million for 3D EM data acquisition in Uruguay.   "We are delighted to start working for BG in Uruguay on this survey. This contract provides us with a substantially improved backlog and we look forward to further developing our relationship with this customer," says Roar Bekker, CEO of EMGS.   It is expected that the data acquisition will start around 15 December 2014 by the vessel EM Leader. The survey has expected duration of 3.5 months

3D Survey off Malaysia for EMGS

EMGS expands cooperation with TGS in Barents Sea
