Since 1991, Løken has held positions in the oil and gas industry for companies like Statoil, Aker Solutions and Lundin Norway. From 2011 to 2015, Løken was Engineering Manager for Lundin Norway's Edvard Grieg field development, where Kvaerner was the key contractor. Aker Solutions Secures Subsea Services Work for Statoil
Aker Solutions said it has secured a framework agreement to provide subsea services for Statoil-operated oil and gas fields offshore Norway. The contract has a fixed period of five years, starting in the first quarter of 2018, and contains five four-year extension options. Its value depends on the amount of work ordered by Statoil under the agreement. This is currently estimated at about NOK 3 billion ($361,000) for the fixed period and will be booked in fourth-quarter orders. Aker Solutions said it has won a contract from Statoil for front end engineering and design of a module that will increase output at Troll, one of Norway's largest natural gas fields. Aker Delivers Åsgard Template to Statoil
Aker Solutions delivered the steel frame for the world's first subsea gas compression facility to be installed at the Statoil-operated Åsgard field. The installation, set to come on stream in 2015, will enable the recovery of an additional 280 million barrels of oil equivalents. Aker Solutions, the international oil services provider, has been awarded a frame agreement with Statoil for the delivery of subsea operations and services on the Norwegian continental shelf. Subsea operations and services covers installation of subsea equipment, maintenance, upgrade and recertification of tools and installed equipment.
