MacArtney Names Omann CEO

Claus Omann has been appointed as the next CEO of the MacArtney Underwater Technology Group, effective August 1, 2017.   Current CEO Niels Erik Hedeager will at the same time take over as Chairman of the Board of Directors.   Omann’s technical and commercial background includes previous positions at LEGO, Viking Life-Saving Equipment and TRIAX in various senior management roles including technical director and most recently CEO.   Hedeager has worked at MacArtney for more than 28 years.

MacArtney Acquires ASME A/S

MacArtney Underwater Technology Group has acquired the majority holding in Denmark based ASME A/S, a designer and manufacturer of complete systems to the marine offshore, ocean science and renewable energy markets.   According to MacArtney, the acquisition will allow it to expand its offerings in existing segments as well as new segments through its worldwide operations.    ASME specializes in PLC and PC based active heave compensated  solutions, launch and recovery systems, automated electric and hydraulic turntables and tensioners, electronic control systems and many more

RSI Orders MacArtney Winch at OB ’15

Rockland Scientific Inc. (RSI) has issued a purchase order at Ocean Business 2015 for the second unit of a small instrumentation winch from the MacArtney Underwater Technology Group. MacArtney Opens Fifth North American Location

MacArtney sets another expansion milestone as fifth North American location opens in Florida   The MacArtney Underwater Technology Group has innaugurated its fifth dedicated business unit in North America.
