DST Taps Seaeye Falcon for Resarch, Offshore Energy

Tritech Names Hardy Sales and Marketing Director

Tritech International Limited announced it has appointed Bruce Hardy as sales and marketing director, based in the company’s Aberdeen office. Hardy joins Tritech with 35 years maritime experience and was previously managing director at Furuno. His career began in the electronics sector for the fishing industry, working with acoustic positioning products and net sensors. This experience then developed into sonar, radar and navigation equipment and ultimately new build ship bridge design and integration. General Oceans AS acquires Tritech

Tritech International Limited has become part of General Oceans AS: an umbrella company specializing in underwater technology and headquartered in London. The deal has been in the make for some months and will see Tritech joining Nortek, Reach Robotics and Strategic Robotic Systems as part of the common holding company General Oceans AS.Tritech began in 1991 and is known for designing and manufacturing robust, reliable underwater sensors including multibeam imaging sonars, mechanical scanning sonars and cameras, plus 24/7/365 support.

An ROV equipped with multiple Tritech sensors has been sold by Outland Technology to the geographic survey company Emas Energy Services (Thailand) Ltd.The Outland 2500 is rated to 300m (1000ft) and uses brushless DC, magnetically coupled thrusters.
