Vestdavit secured a contract with Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors to supply one of its HN-5000 workboat davits for each of the two vessels, NOAA ocean reasearch vessels. Norway: USV LARS System Passes Test
Norwegian davit systems specialist Vestdavit has informed that its engineers, together with engineers from H. Henriksen have recently provided proof of concept for SOLUSV – a new launch and recovery system that simplifies and enhances Unmanned Surface Vehicle handling. Fugro-Geoteam Opts for Vestdavit Support
Fugro-Geoteam, with headquarters in Oslo, is one of the world’s larger offshore seismic contractors operating 8 seismic vessels world-wide. Several of the vessels are equipped with as many as five Vestdavit davit systems. Øyvind Norlen, marine superintendent, Fugro, says, “My absolute priority is to keep our fleet operating safely with no injuries, downtime or failures.
