These facilities allow the company to fully test and calibrate every system to ensure the highest quality product is delivered.

Products

EdgeTech is the industry leader in the design and development of advanced imaging sonar systems. Only

EdgeTech offers a set of unique and exciting underwater imaging technologies including Full Spectrum® CHIRP Processing, Multi-Pulse technology, Dynamic Aperture and Dynamically Focused Arrays. In addition to these pioneering technologies, our expertise in telemetry, compact & low power electronics, modular designs and software programming allows us to provide unique and tailored solutions for platforms that include towed bodies, powered towed bodies, remotely operated vehicles (ROV), unmanned surface vehicles (USV), and unmanned underwater vehicles (UUV). The company also has a vast knowledge base in acoustic positioning, navigation and actuated control technologies.

New Technology:

Most recently the company has delivered its first 2205 AUV/ROV –based sonar system that was configured for combined side scan sonar and bathymetry for a small AUV. Based on the success of the EdgeTech 4600 platform the 2205 system offers users the ability to survey in shallow waters and obtain wide swath bathymetry with co-registered side scan sonar imagery.

In the acoustic release line, the PACS Deck Box has taken hold as a multifunctional surface unit for users that have mid-frequency (MF) or low frequency (LF) acoustic releases and need a small portable and affordable acoustic deck unit to range to and command their subsea acoustic releases such as the PORT, SPORT or 8242.
