On display will be a submersible microscope that offers real-time, in-situ monitoring of water quality. The microscope and software can image, count, size and characterize anything in water ranging from 1 micron up to several mm. Applications include harmful algae bloom monitoring , detection and quantification of oil, algae-biofuel production.
