Aker Solutions, Subsea 7 Win Ærfugl Subsea Scope

Aker Solutions Wins ADNOC Umbilicals Contract

Norwegian engineering and equipment firm Aker Solutions said it has secured a NOK 700 million ($78.2 million) order from ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) to deliver subsea umbilicals for the Dalma gas development project located offshore the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the shallow waters of the Persian Gulf.The scope includes four steel tube umbilicals totaling more than 100 kilometers. Chevron to Use Subsea Compression at Jansz-Io

Aker Solutions announced Tuesday it has been awarded a master contract to support the delivery of a subsea compression system for the Chevron Australia-operated Jansz-Io field offshore Australia, marking the first time the technology will be used outside of Norway.Compression helps to maintain plateau gas production rates as reservoir pressure drops over time, but such compressors have typically been installed on platforms over sea level. Aker Solutions contracted for hook-up, commissioning & facility management services to Premier Oil at Solan field development. Offshore Nigeria Contract for Aker Solutions

Aker Solutions signed a contract with ExxonMobil for the supply of subsea umbilicals for the Erha North phase two development in Nigeria. The Erha North phase two development is an extension of the existing Erha subsea system and infrastructure located approximately 97 kilometers offshore Nigeria in water depths between 1,000 and 1,200 meters.
