Malikai TLP Float-Off in Malaysia

InterMoor completed its involvement in the Shell Malikai Tension Leg Platform (TLP) float-off operations. (Boskalis) inform it has been awarded a contract by Statoil Petroleum AS for the transportation of two very large new jack-up drilling rigs from Korean shipbuilders to the North Sea, said to be the largest and heaviest jack-up rigs ever to be transported on a heavy marine transport vessel. Rig Too Big for Drydock: Dockwise Liftboat Fills the Bill

Royal Boskalis Westminster (Boskalis) subsidiary Dockwise was contracted to provide an alternative form of dry docking in the Mediterranean for a semi-submersible drilling rig too big to fit into any dry-dock in the region. It was realised that the company's Dockwise Vanguard was uniquely positioned for this type of large scale dry docking, not only the transportation of very large and heavy structures. Deepwater Spar Hull Delivery Takes Ship to Capacity Limit

The Boskalis subsidiary, Dockwise vessel 'Mighty Servant 1' has offloaded the 23,000 ton spar for the Lucius deepwater oil and natural gas project in the Gulf of Mexico. The Lucius truss spar, measuring 184 meters (605 feet) long and 34 meters (110 feet) in diameter, was loaded onto the Mighty Servant 1 by means of skid on operation at Pori, Finland. The spar was transported 7,700 nautical miles and discharged at Ingleside, Texas and delivered back to Technip. The Lucius Development is located in Keathley Canyon Block 875 in the Gulf of Mexico and is operated by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation.
