Ennsub Completes Sealing Work on LNG Platform

Ifremer Receives Scientific Multibeam

Delegates from the French Research Institute for Exploration of the Sea (Ifremer) visited the Kongsberg Maritime Subsea headquarters in Horten, Norway late December 2013 for the Factory Acceptance Test of its second Simrad ME70 scientific multibeam echosounder. Ifremer acquired the multibeam echo sounder – the Simrad ME70 delivered as part of the mid-life refit of the L’Europe Research Vessel – to strengthen its work in the Mediterranean Sea. Aquatic Completes First Carousel Project

Subsea, engaged Aquatic Asia Pacific to mobilise the modular carousel system onto the Seamec Princess vessel and transpool the umbilical prior to sailing to the field and laying off the vessel starboard side. The project saw the Aquatic carousel mobilised for the first time after completing its Factory Acceptance Test in Singapore. Logistically, the first offshore operation for the new carousel was more than sufficient to put it through its paces, requiring three different lengths of flexible product to be spooled onto the carousel at the start of mobilisation.
