ETAP (Eastern Trough Area Project) Central Processing Facility (CPF). Comprising four subsea production wells, a new 5 kilometer pipe-in-pipe production line and a 17 kilometer control umbilical, Seagull outputs will travel via the Heron pipeline system to the ETAP development and on through the Forties pipeline system to Grangemouth, UK. Gas from the development will come onshore at the CATS processing terminal at Teesside, while oil will come onshore through the Forties Pipeline System to the Kinneil Terminal, Grangemouth. The Field Development Plan (FDP) was submitted to and approved by the Oil and

Gas condensate from the Erskine facility, operated by Chevron, is exported to the Lomond platform and then 57.8km on to the Everest platform for onward export via the CATS system into the Forties Pipeline System to shore. When Chrysaor took on Lomond as part of its acquisition of (ex-BG Group) assets from Shell in 2017, it knew there was a history of blockages in the Lomond to Everest condensate line, due to wax dropping out of the condensate flow as it cooled. Ineos to Upgrade Forties Pipeline

Billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's petrochemicals company Ineos said on Wednesday it would spend 1 billion pounds ($1.33 billion) on UK energy assets, including the Forties pipeline, which carries almost half of Britain's oil and gas from the North Sea.Ineos said it would invest 500 million pounds on overhauling its ageing Forties pipeline, which has been in service since 1975 and can carry up to 600,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil.Founder and chairman Ratcliffe, Britain's richest man, said the investment underscored the company's commitment to its UK-based businesses."Ineos is a

So far this year, the average has risen to about 173,000 bpd, even though output has slowed in June because of a Forties pipeline flow restriction, sources said.   "There hasn't been a zero production day this year," said one of the sources who declined to be identified. "It's been quite a success story."   The lack of outages shows that efforts by the field operator to improve reliability

the need for further work or adaptation by the end-user. To date, UK-headquartered STATS have completed more than 200 Tecno Plug deployments, including recent isolations in Oman, Malaysia, Canada and the UK Central North Sea – with high profile projects including the isolation of the Forties Pipeline System (FPS) for Apache North Sea Ltd. STATS patented BISEP provides high pressure intervention and isolation through a single hot tap penetration. Since its development less than 10 years ago, STATS has deployed over 60 hot tapped isolations, enabling maintenance work to be carried out
