Wärtsilä Acquires Trident B.V.

Wärtsilä said it has acquired Netherland based Trident B.V., a specialist in underwater ship maintenance, inspection and repair services. The acquisition is expected to close in January 2018.     The enterprise value of the transaction is €17.5 million ($20.8 million) and an additional €3.5 million ($4.2 million) earn-out, based on the business performance in the coming years. Nova Scotia Attracts Tidal Energy Players

Minas Energy said it has entered into a partnership with International Marine Energy Inc (IME) and Tocardo International BV, using Tocardo’s tidal turbines. The new collaboration, Minas Tidal Limited Partnership (MTLP), intends to test Netherland-based Tocardo technology at the Fundy Ocean Resource Centre for Energy (FORCE) in the Minas Passage. Technip to Supply Flexible Pipes for Lula Alto Pre-salt Field

  Technip was awarded a major(1) contract from Tupi BV, a consortium composed of Petrobras Netherland BV (PNBV, 65%), BG (25%) and Galp (10%), for the ongoing development of the Lula Alto field, located in the Santos Basin pre-salt area, Brazil. Netherland-based Fugro says it has completed the acquisition of the Geofor Group based in Libreville (Gabon), Douala (Cameroon), Pointe Noire (Republic of Congo) and São Tomé City (São Tomé) to strengthen its presence in the Central Africa region and the French speaking African countries.
