Boskalis to Install Cables for Hornsea 2

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis) said it has been awarded a €100 million ($111.6 million) contract from Ørsted to install three export cable circuits for the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm.The wind farm will consist of up to 165 turbines with a maximum capacity of 1.4GW and is located approximately 90 kilometers off the Yorkshire coast.Boskalis said its project scope includes the preparation of the offshore export cable route (geophysical survey, boulder clearance and seabed leveling through dredging), and the installation and protection of the cables. Boskalis Wins Subsea Cable Repair Work

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. announced Wednesday that it has signed a contract for the replacement and repair of a part of the inter-array cables at an unnamed offshore wind farm. The contract is valued at approximately $90.4 millionThe Dutch firm said it will conduct the work utilizing three anchored barge spreads, including the cable repair assets Bokabarge 82 and recently acquired BoDo Constructor from Bohlen Doyen accompanied by a variety of support vessels.

Gardline Names Vermeijden CEO

Marine survey company Gardline has appointed Christiaan Vermeijden as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Boskalis Wins Subsea Work in the Middle East

Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. (Boskalis) announced Tuesday it has signed a multi-year subsea services agreement for an unnamed customer in the Middle East. Boskalis Acquires Subsea Survey Firm Gardline

Netherlands based Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V. said it has acquired all shares of the U.K. based Gardline Group, a firm specializing in marine geophysical surveys, offshore geotechnical services and environmental surveys.
