In US Gulf, Robots, Drones Take on Dangerous Offshore Oil Work

UK Suppliers Win Statoil Contracts

Statoil (UK) Limited has awarded Aker Solutions UK with the maintenance and modification services contract for the Mariner field.  Likewise, the offshore services contract was awarded to Stork Technical Services Limited (UK). Aker Solutions will perform the services for the Mariner field under a five-year contract, anticipated to start this August. Stork will begin its services in January 2015, also under a five-year term.
