SubseaPartner Tallies FPSO Work in the UK

Norwegian diving contractor SubseaPartner announced it has secured a contract from floating production, storage and offloading unit owner and operator Teekay Offshore for dive work offshore the UK.The contract includes ongoing subsea work on the FPSOs Petrojarl Foinaven and Hummingbird.Detailed planning and engineering have been completed, and SubseaPartner has chartered the vessel Olympic Zeus as support for the offshore diving campaign, SubseaPartner said. Shuttle Tanker Conversion to FSO Contract for Robert Allan

Teekay Self-Propelled DP System En Route to Las Palmas

'Navion Anglia' (pictured) has commenced the sea passage to Las Palmas with the HiLoad Dynamic Positioning No. 1 safely docked at her port side. Late 2012, Teekay Offshore announced an agreement to acquire this self-propelled dynamic positioning (DP) system that attaches to and keeps conventional tankers in position when loading from offshore installations. Now Teekay say that the HiLoad DP is safely docked to the 'Navion Anglia' and bound for operation at Las Palmas, in the Canary Islands. Teekay Offshore Partners Sign FSO Contract

The contract with Statoil is to provide a floating storage and offtake (FSO) unit for the Gina Krog oil & gas field located in North Sea. The contract will be serviced by a new FSO unit converted from the 1995-built shuttle tanker, Randgrid, which is currently 67 percent owned by Teekay Offshore. The Partnership's portion of the FSO conversion project is expected to be completed for a total net capital cost of approximately $220 million, including the cost of acquiring the remaining 33 percent ownership interest in the Randgrid shuttle tanker.
